I took one look at the good book
And it said stop what I'm doing
So I put it down and went up town
To break up with my long time girlfriend
I said:
"I'm sorry honey, it's time to quit
I don't have time for anymore bullshit.
I'd love to give you the time and have some peace of mind,
but I don't have anymore time for it."
She said:
"I see. Well, I've been sleeping around for the past year and a half...so it won't be that bad for me."

Well I took one look at the good book
And it said I'm so stupid
If I hadn't been in any relationship at all
I wouldn't have to deal with this bullshit.
So I put it down and I went uptown with a carton of rotten eggs, and as I cracked the last one on my girlfriend's dumpy car she came out and she was laughing.
She said:
"You're a jerk...but that's alright cause I'm taking that car to the dump tomorrow morning before I go to work."

Well I took a last look at the good book
And it told me how I should feel
So I threw it out the window and took a dump
I had too much fried chicken for my last meal.
I started uptown and talked myself down, came home, and made myself a salad.
Two days later: I'm regular...and that's all the time I wanna spend talking shit.
